Tram service changes
- Route 12 trams run a shortened service between St Kilda and Stop 122 Southern Cross Station.
- Route 35 (City Circle) trams will not run.
- From 4pm Friday 16 February to last tram Sunday 18 February, Route 30 trams will not run.
Alternative travel options
- Route 12 passengers consider Route 109 trams between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station and Victoria Gardens
- Route 30 passengers consider trams on Bourke Street.
- Route 35 (City Circle) passengers consider trams in Free Tram Zone.
Extra trams will run for the Taylor Swift concert at the MCG
Additional service changes apply along Swanston Street, St Kilda Road due to track renewal works.
Additional service changes apply on Sunday 18 February due to St Kilda Festival and Northcote Rise Festival.
Extended Free Tram Zone stops
From Friday 16 February to Sunday 18 February (inclusive) the Free Tram Zone will be extended to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The additional stops included in the Extended Free Tram Zone are:

- Stop 10 Jolimont Road
- Stop 11 Jolimont Station / MCG
Route 70
- Stop 7A William Barak Bridge
- Stop 7B Rod Laver Arena / MCG Gates 1-3
- Stop 7C MCG Gates 4-7 / John Cain Arena
You don't need to touch on your myki if you're only travelling in the city's Free Tram Zone.
