Reason for service changes

Due to road closures for the Run4Kids event, no trams run in Docklands.

Tram service changes

Affected trams will display ‘a’ alongside their route number to reflect the changes.

2am to 1.30pm

2am to 6pm

  • Route 86 trams run between Bundoora / RMIT and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.

5.30am to 1.30pm

  • Route 96 and Route 109 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station and Stop 124 Batman Park.

First tram to 1.30pm

  • Route 70 trams run between Wattle Park and Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium.
  • Route 12 trams divert via La Trobe Street and run in sections with no trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 1 Spencer Street / La Trobe Street.
  • Route 58 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 4 Collins Street and Stop 116 City Road.

First tram to 6pm

  • City Circle and Route 30 trams will not run.
  • Route 11 and Route 48 trams run to Stop 1 Southern Cross Station, no trams will run in Docklands.

1.30pm to 6pm

  • Route 70 trams run between Wattle Park and Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
  • Due to works in Toorak Road, Route 75a trams run between Stop 39 Camberwell Depot and Stop D6 Flinders Street West.

The following tram stops will be closed during the event:

Docklands

  • Stop 119 Spencer Street/La Trobe Street (to Docklands only)
  • Stop D1 Stadium Precinct/La Trobe Street.
  • Stop D2 Central Pier/Harbour Esplanade.
  • Stop D3 Stadium Precinct/Bourke Street.
  • Stop D4 Docklands Park/Harbour Esplanade.
  • Stop D5 The Goods Shed/McCrae Street.
  • Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
  • Stop D10 New Quay/Docklands Drive.
  • Stop D11 Waterfront City Docklands.
  • Stop D14 Southern Cross Station/Collins Street West.
  • Stop D15 Batman's Hill/Collins Street West.
  • Stop D16 Harbour Esplanade/Collins Street West.
  • Stop D17 Collins Landing/Collins Street West.
  • Stop D18 Victoria Harbour Docklands.

Spencer Street

  • Stop 122 Southern Cross Station.
  • Stop 124 Batman Park (to Casino only).

Collins Street

  • Stop 1 Southern Cross Station (to Casino only).

Flinders Street

  • Stop 1 Spencer Street.
  • Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium.

Route 58

  • Stop 1 Flinders Street/Queensbridge Street.
  • Stop 115 Casino/Southbank.
  • Stop 116 City Road/Kings way (to Toorak only).

Accessibility

Please note the following changes to accessibility:

  • Routes 12, City Circle, 70 and 75 are not currently serviced by low-floor trams.
  • Routes 30, 48, 58 and 109 are partly serviced by low-floor trams, use tram TRACKER app to check the next three trams at your stop.

The last accessible stops are:

  • On Routes 86 and 96: Stop 1 Southern Cross Station / Bourke Street.
  • On Routes 11, 48 and 109: Stop 1 Southern Cross Station / Collins Street.
  • On Routes 96 and 109: Stop 124 Batman Park.
  • On Route 58: Stop 3 Bourke Street / William Street.
