Route 59 and 82 Disruption – Friday 4 November

Services resuming

Route 59 and 82 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore normal frequency.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Mt Alexander Rd

• Route 59 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 27 Essendon Depot and Stop 53 Keilor Rd.
• A limited bus replacement service runs between Stop 20 Melrose Street and Stop 53 Keilor Rd.
• No Route 82 trams run between Stop 34 Ascot Vale Rd and Moonee Ponds.

Alternative travel

• Craigieburn line trains.
• Route 57 trams.
• Bus 477 on Matthews Avenue/Keilor Road to connect with Craigieburn line trains at Essendon station.
• Bus 483 on Keilor Road/Mt Alexander Road to connect with Craigieburn line trains at Essendon station.

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
