Route 48/75 Disruption - Tuesday 6 September 2022

Services resuming

Route 48/75 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore normal frequency.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Bridge Road and Wellington Parade:

• Route 48 trams divert in both directions via Victoria Street between Stop 8 Spring Street and Stop 29 Barkers Road.
• Route 75 trams divert in both directions via Swan Street between Stop 6 Russell Street and Stop 29 Riversdale Junction.

Alternative travel

• Route 78 trams in Church Street or Bus 246 in Hoddle Street to connect with diverting services.
• Belgrave and Lilydale Line trains.

This disruption may take some time to clear. Plan ahead, allow extra time for your journey and always wear a face mask when travelling.
