Services resuming

Route 12, 70, 75, 96 and 109 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to a truck accident in Spencer Street at Flinders Street

Bourke and Collins streets

• Route 12 and 109 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station, Collins Street.
• Route 96 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station, Bourke Street.

Flinders Street

• No Route 70 trams run between Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium and Waterfront City Docklands.
• Route 75 trams divert via Spring Street and La Trobe Street between Stop 9 Lansdowne Street and Stop D2 Central Pier.
• Shuttle trams run on Flinders Street between Stop 6 Russell Street and Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium.

Alternative travel

• Consider walking between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station and Stop 124 Batman Park to connect to Route 12, 96 and 109 trams.
• Route 11, 30, 48, 86 trams to/from Docklands.

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
