Tram service changes
Sunday 24 December – Christmas Eve
- Trams run to a normal Sunday timetable. Night Network services will not run.
Monday 25 December – Christmas Day
- Trams run to a Sunday timetable with first service running at normal weekday time.
- All tram services will be free on Christmas Day. City Circle will not run.
Tuesday 26 December – Boxing Day, Wednesday 27 December and Thursday 28 December
- Trams run to a Saturday timetable. Night Network services will not run.
- From 9am to 8pm, extra trams will run for Boxing Day Test Cricket:
- Route 70a will run between Stop 7 MCG/ John Cain Arena and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
- Route 75a will run between Stop 11 Jolimont Station and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
Friday 29 December
- Trams run to a Saturday timetable. Friday Night Network services run as normal.
- From 9am to 8pm, extra trams will run for Boxing Day Test Cricket:
- Route 70a will run between Stop 7 MCG/ John Cain Arena and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
- Route 75a will run between Stop 11 Jolimont Station and Stop 4 Elizabeth Street or Stop D6 Flinders Street West.
Saturday 30 December
- Trams run to a normal Saturday timetable, with Night Network services running as normal.
Sunday 31 December – New Year’s Eve
- Extra tram services run on Swanston and Flinders streets and St Kilda Road to get you to city celebrations and back home.

Monday 1 January – New Year’s Day
- Trams run to a Saturday timetable. Night Network services will not run.
