Reason for service changes
Due to road closures in Harbour Esplanade for the Firelight Festival public event
Tram service changes
- Route 30a trams run between Stop 12 St Vincents Plaza and Central Pier, Docklands
- Route 70 trams run a shortened service between Wattle Park and and Stop D6 Flinders St West
- Route 75 trams run a shortened service between Vermont South and Stop D6 Flinders St West
- Route 48 trams run a shortened service between North Balwyn and Stop D6 Flinders St West diverting via Flinders Street (from 9pm Friday)
Tram stop changes
The following tram stops will be closed between 3.30pm and 11.30pm during the festival:
- Stop D5 The Goods Shed
- Stop D4 Docklands Park
- Stop D3 Stadium Precinct
- Stop D2 Central Pier
- Stop D10 NewQuay
- Stop D11 Waterfront City
Alternative travel
Passengers for Waterfront City Docklands may use Route 86 trams on Bourke Street or Route 30a trams on La Trobe Street to Central Pier, Docklands
Additional service changes apply to Route 11, 12, 30, 35, 48, 96 and 109 trams due to track renewal works at Collins and Spencer Street junction during this public event.
