Route 1/6 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Lygon Street at Brunswick Road 

• Route 1/6 trams divert in both directions via Royal Parade/Sydney Road between Stop 7 RMIT University and Moreland Road.

Alternative travel

• Route 19 trams
• Upfield line trains
• From Stop 120 Brunswick Rd: take Bus 504 west to Route 19 tram or Upfield line trains
  From Stop 114 Princes St: take Bus 546 west to Route 19 trams
  From Stop 112 Elgin St: take Bus 200 into city
  From Stop 1 Melbourne University: take Bus 402 west to Route 19 trams
  From East Coburg/Bell St: take bus 513/514/527/903 west to Route 19 trams or Upfield line trains
