Getting to the Australian Open
Free Australian Open shuttle trams run as Route 70a between Stop D6 Flinders Street West and Stop 7C MCG Gates 4-7 / John Cain Arena, until one hour after the end of play each night.
Extra trams run as Route 70a between Melbourne Park and Stop 39 Camberwell Tram Depot after end of play each night.
Route 70 trams run a normal service between Waterfront City Docklands and Wattle Park.
Disruption to services:

Take a tram to the following stops for your Australian Open entrance:
City Entrance
- Stop 7A William Barak Bridge & Batman Ave
- Walk up to 10 minutes from Stop 5 Flinders Street Station via Federation Square and Birrarung Marr
Garden Square Entrance
- Stop 7B Rod Laver Arena / MCG Gates 1-3
Grand Slam Oval Entrance (from city)
- Stop 7C MCG Gates 4-7 / John Cain Arena and walk over the footbridge to Olympic Boulevard
Grand Slam Oval Entrance (from Richmond)
- Stop 7D Olympic Boulevard
Service changes
Route 12 trams run a shortened service between St Kilda and Stop 122 Southern Cross Station
- Connect with Route 109 trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Victoria Gardens
